It was not needed but they saw the success of season 1 and decided to wrap up the story for another season. I know one thing the baxters better get whats coming for them one way or another :birdman:
You can tell that this show was intentionally made for one season because the writing and plot development is very watered down in this second season.

How many times is Cranston going to visit that damn baby? There acting like this baby is some miracle star child that's going make everything ok. I see where this is going.

:mjlol:@ the fat kid stepping away from the phone so dramatically when he saw that Big Mo was calling for her brother. Chill, youngin. It's just a phone ringing. :pachaha:

This show is on life support

The fukk was this last episode :what:

They just leveraging cranstons big name. Super lazy writing
It's looking like a big mistake for a season 2. This is feeling like the last season on "City on a Hill".

I tried to binge watch the first season and naw
Modern day New Orleans
Ain’t no ofay kicking no black youth ass
:mjlol:
Nooooooo - you know I wouldn’t watch it and I don’t get down like that if this was about black trauma entertainment.

To me, it’s more like watching kac karma and retributive justice play out against those white racist fuks in that town. Each time they try to come at black people, they end up digging their own grave. Truth be told, they weren’t going to bring this back for another season because white people were complaining about how bad it depicts them. Immoral judge turned criminal, the cuck and his wife, both of their sons catch a coffin ☠️😭, Despite all the power they claim to hold.

IMDb comment section when this first aired was nothing but cac backlash . For that reason alone, I had to see how this played out. 😈

This show probably has some of the overall worst casting decisions that I've ever seen

Really? I thought bringing in Hector from BB as the Baxter father in law was great casting

He wasn't a bad choice, and neither is baxter's son, but no one else really fits their roles very well though imo
