Thats what I dont get, people sh1t on that movie as time goes on. :mindblown:

People dump on it because it beat pulp fiction at the oscars so there is bitterness there and I think there's a generation who rejects the movie because it props up another generation to great heights

I don't know how I could ever choose just 1 movie.

When you say "favorite movie" I swear like 100 come to mind.

Nah breh pick what you think is the greatest..not favorite but greatest. I said Godfather is the greatest movie ever made but it's not my favorite. It's my 2nd favorite of all time

Define "greatest". :yeshrug:

Meaning if you had to think of what in your mind is the greatest movie ever made objectively, what would it be? Do I think Casino Royale is the greatest film ever made? Fukk no, but it's my favorite film ever made. Greatest would be something that is as close to perfect as you can get on film from every technical aspect right down to the acting and story.

You mean that bond movie? Really can you explain why it's your favorite? I would have never guessed that movie to be anyone's favorite.. I'm not judging tho..

But for me it's hard to say 1 greatest, I mean for me I'm not one to out a movie over because the cinematography was great or the cuts from science to scene were smooth. I look at it from a entertainment aspect, a movie can have some technical flaws but for me it can make up for it with action, comedy or being a movie that makes you think a little.. But to answer the thread my favorites are pulp fiction and Seven, I also really like the first bad boys.. Out of those 3 I would have to say pulp fiction

Casino Royale is my favorite flick of all time because one, Bond is my favorite film character. I've seen every Bond flick and own them all. 2, the movie breaks him down to his core, what he's about, his flaws, etc and slowly attempts to rebuild him up. For all the villainy by Le Chfifre, the poker game, the espionage and all that, at it's core the film is about a guy who for so long has had up this wall when it comes to his emotions and women and he meets one who breaks it down, makes him vulnerable and he pays for it in the end, ultimately turning him back into what he started as but with a visible emotional scar. Bond is the way he is not because he doesn't want to settle down with one woman and leave his job but because he feels that's the only way to protect himself. Aside from that, it's a beautiful film to look at, I love the score, love all of the acting and aside from a few clunky lines of dialogue, it's an awesome script and does justice to the franchise and the character. I feel like your favorite movie is the one that makes you feel something and then you figure out why it is you feel that way and I just connect to Casino Royale for various reasons
