Why wouldn't Drake wanna be Jay? Meek Mill going for Drake and Drake isn't truly concerned with him or consider him an equal. Meek mill stans don't consider them equals and say it is unfair.

I think arenas and clubs around the world quoting and being entertained by lines on B2B speaks for itself in terms of quotables.
Meek got quotables in his music historically "i be riding through my old hood, but im in my new whip". Them shyts that get the people going. Just not in this song.
You are right though, I generally like Drake music a lot more than Meek and that goes for these tracks too. Could be my taste, appreciating melodic flows etc... Meek is someone I like in small doses these days, kinda like Big Sean level.
Again, I'm not a fan of either...but if I had to be honest about who's music I like more, it would have to be Drake.
It feels like that shouldn't be the case but it is. And that's fine that his disses are doubling as singles but it also means they are a bit tame.
You look at songs like Toss it up, or Is that your bytch by Jay, both diss records that got clubs jumpin, but were pretty foul in retrospect. Drake has those dual purpose records in the pocket now, time to stop being cute. His next one shouldn't sound like it was made with airplay in mind.
