• Bill burr
• Dave Chapelle
• DL Hugley [he was here this weekend]
• Lavell Crawford [in a few weeks i'm going to see]
• Tony Rock
• john lovitz
• Jim Norton
• Damon Wayans
• Chelsea Handler
• john oliver
• David Allen greer

etc...a LOT of comedians who started in standup go back to it over and over because its how they make continuous money and how they perfect their craft. Seinfeld is the biggest baller in comic history probably and still tours.

Plus, new ways of distributing media [NETFLIX even] has made it easier to get your name out on a low budget...yeah youtube can kill crowds but it ALSO gets your name out faster than before.

If not for youtube Hannibal Burres would still be "that guy who played the cop on bad neighbors and wrote on SNL for a minute"

Parlor Live...theres one downtown on 6th and Pine, and The Comedy Undergoind in pioneer square. The moore, neptune, and paramount theaters have a listers reguarly.
