i aint wanna tell him that it wasn't going to happen, especially with his mediocre hs stats.

My home boy let a scrub catch confidence and dude scored 5 straight points on him
After he said he's gotten better since the last time I've seen
Him play in highschool
Had me heated we ended up losing by 1 and had to sit for 2 games

My boy used to be like this when we were just starting HS. I was always captain and would pick him up because I knew he wouldn't see the court otherwise. Dude would be on the baseline fighting through a sea of people looking at me like Luckily, breh shot up to about 6'2 between 10th & 12th and can now slash and rebound his ass off.
