I've never leased before, but those downpayments are way higher then what is asked for financing from what I've seen. But all that is probably all negotiable. Maybe you would be better off making a separate thread to ask.

I do car sales and it's very possible to get a lease on a great vehicle without a down payment IF you have good credit & solid income. However the more money you put down should reduce your monthly payment so that is a factor to consider @YaBoy

Well I got my first car last week guys. Decided not to get the car loan since I needed a co signer, instead I spent $2300 on a Subaru Legacy instead

Good choice bruh, especially for a first car. Make sure you check all hoses , maybe a tune up. Check if the transmission oil was regularly changed, if not, DO NOT change it , it'll do more damage then good.

Before you customized the car, spend a hundred dollar on a diagnostic. You want to make sure a mechanic detect any wear and tear on a component that may need replacement and check to see if the car needs new fluid beside oil such as the transmission and radiator fluid. Maintain your car like a healthy person maintain its body. Never neglect your car. Your car is the most loyal possession you ever own as long as you treat it very well.
