Tell me what I need to know as a 22 year old first time owner. I'm taking an EMT class this summer and I'll need a car for going between there, work and home. I'm going to apply for a $10k loan and hopefully I can find a nice Chevy Cruze, Mazda 3/6 or Ford Fusion.

if you going for a cruze you might as well go for a civic which is a better car. mazda 6 is a good look too.

You are going to need a job first before you get a loan. You need proof of income, so the bank might call up your employer just to see if you are an employee.. They don't give out loans to unemployed people, unless there is some magical way you intend to make your monthly payments.
