Let this go to show you that the street life is stupid. There’s no 401k or any long term benefits. Gunna protrayed himself as a gangster and Thug expected him to stand on business. It’s Gunna fault for joining the streets in the first place. I don’t blame him for wanting to get out of jail and I don’t even think he was actively doing illegal shyt. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that he was an alleged Crip and chose to sign with a label full of people who live by the same principles.
People were happy when Thug asked to talk to Gunna. When in reality Gunna is the only relevant artist on that label. Thug just had the longest trial in GA history; he needs the money.
If I’m being honest Gunna has been making great music since getting out. If I’m here I’m trying to get off YSL. They need him more than he needs them.
