many years ago an OG was being greeted in the barbershop and asked where he been at cause nikkas hadn’t seen him in a min

He was saying how he been locked up for a year cause he caught a lil drug case and the judge offered him a year on the island (rikers) or 4 years probation or some shyt like that. He said he didn’t even think twice and took the year. Mind you OG already did 30 years for a body.

And I remember thinking to myself “wtf why wouldn’t you take the probation your freedom is PRICELESS!”

Then two seconds later OG admitted nothing tops his ability to smoke his “crillz” (aka crack)

to some doing drugs and NOT engaging in criminal shyt is too much to give up so they rather do time.

Life is crazy

from that 4 years of probation coming with conditions that could potentially turn into who knows how much more years ...to the fact that probation is an expensive expense that if you can't keep up with he'll do more than that 1 year offered etc etc

theres all kinds of variables to where people turn down non detention deals

In the Silver Lining
He must stay away from the metro Atlanta area — as defined by the census — for the first 10 years of his probation, except for weddings, funerals, graduations or a serious illness of an immediate family member. He can arrive 24 hours before the event and must leave within 48 hours after.

But he must also return to the Atlanta area four times during each year of his probation to make an anti-gang, anti-gun violence presentation at a grade school, middle school or high school, or at an organization like the Boys & Girls Club. Those visits can count toward the 100 hours of community service he must complete during each year of his probation.

He also cannot knowingly have contact with any member of a criminal street gang. The judge said that includes other people named in the indictment, with the exception of his brother and the rapper Gunna, with whom he has contractual obligations.

He cannot participate in criminal street gang activity or promote any gang, including through hand signs.

He also can’t contact the victims in the case or their families, may not own a gun, must not use drugs other than those prescribed to him, must submit to random drug tests, and must allow searches of himself and his property and electronics

Can't go to Atlanta, can't party, can't play his old music, can't praise his slimes. Can't even throw up signs. They'll have this man rapping like Kurtis blow :wow:

Gospel, country, jazz, blues, Afrobeats is hiring.

He gone be in ATL with a Misssion Impossible mask?

It'll be interesting to see what he does with his life to stay in line with his probation.

NOTE: The whole situation would make for great and lucrative reality TV, as:

1. People will watch to see if he slips up and how he and people around him have to consider his every move.

2. It would be the most boring hip hop angled reality show, because of the stipulations in the probation.

Young H.U.G. (Hero Under God) on VH1. :mjlol::unimpressed:
