I dunno how true it is but years ago somebody on here said they went to school with Young Thug and he was a weird art kid. Popular, good with the ladies, but not in the streets at all. So he was confused where all this gangster shyt came from.

So it's possible that Young Thug was overcompensating.

Thug came up in the streets since he was 8, 9 years old. He was part of a gang called ROC/30 Deep that predates YSL. They was known for doing snatch and runs in high end stores. Thug broke a teachers arm and spent 4 years in juvie and he was probably a very truant student so I don’t know who was going to school with him

If you were born and raised in Jonesboro South projects, you were in the streets by default. The whole project was an open air drug market like I’ve never seen before or after. I probably copped weed from a young Young Thug back in the day.
