I respect that he actually addressed it as opposing to saving face. When I first heard the line on The Cure, I figured it would've start some shyt then surprisingly the media just glossed over it. Afterwards you got Jungle and Wiz talking crazy about Pac while Nas just chilling about it on some, "that's their story not mines" but not really addressing the bullshyt they saying. Now here comes the Hennessey line. If it was any other rapper they wouldn't have gotten that much leeway from the media but ever since it's Nas, it's automatically seen as truthful or non-threatening. Nas knows his influence especially with how the KD series was recieved, so if was indeed misinformation or figure of speech, clearing it up shouldn't be a problem.
