No - what I know is that marriages have advantages.
If they didn’t, nobody would ever get married.
An assumption I will concede is this: marriages are as “healthy” as the people in them.
You’re giving a lot of personal information in here for somebody who claims their initial question was not based on personal circumstance...
First you said my perspective had to be personal, now I'm conceding it is but it is in fact related to my experience with a two parent home. You're not really addressing the equity issue either way though. Whether this is personal or not, the point is that working 40+ hours a week only to have to come home to cook, clean, and be the primary child care person isn't appealing to a lot of women anymore.
