Some of this is just the era too. The social media/viral era. Dolph understood that on some level, when he did "Play With Your bytch", that was a sensation in the rap world. but it gave me a bad feeling to even listen to that. Same reason I understand Hit Em Up, but never play it, I love it but don't go there.
I just kept thinking but what is this really about? why is he doing this? It's not necessarily about "real street" and fake but there's a whole era where people talk stupid reckless and they don't even think about the consequences. The whole culture of exposal videos, 'owning' people', the laughing emojis about dead bodies....I know when someone who I don't respect, who isn't on my level, or isn't like me, talks crazy, it burns me up inside.
