I was thinking about this the other day, there used to be anywhere between 10-12 million viewers watching wrestling weekly between WWF/WCW in the Attitude Era. Obviously, some people did move on from wrestling (some probably did go to MMA) but think of all the new fans there are who grew up on the Ruthless Aggression era and John Cena.

There has to be many more wrestling fans out there who just choose not to watch RAW every week. Maybe they watch the YouTube vids or just read about what happens or simply don't care.

But with how much access we have now with highspeed internet the indies and ROH and New Japan and CMLL are much more accessible. It makes it possible to be very well known without being in WWE.

The way PPVs trend over other events on Sunday's, especially WrestleMania, I'm sure there's people who either only watch non-WWE wrestling or don't watch wrestling for 364 days but comeback for Mania.

Where's Roman Reigns shirts sold?
Listen, when they start selling young buck shirts at Khols i'll be like "wow :vinceshock:"

These are the same stores that sell ninja turtle tshirts and beer pong tables.

Its great for them but lets be real they're a niche in a niche store.

Not a fan of them but that's very impressive and good for them. The only thing I have to add is this is why WWE doesn't have black champions or a black-centric top storyline like everybody on here wants. There is a big area in between NYC and LA that is all nerdy cacs and they want to see people who look like them. Same reason Macklemore, mac Miller, G-Eazy and Eminem after he stopped being good, are all top selling rappers

Every other major promotion has had well booked black champions except WWE. WWE just chooses not to give them the chance. Meanwhile their most marketable wrestlers are a black stable.

Who the hell is G-Eazy? :dame:

I'm not talking about booking, I'm talking about business
No company has ever done good business with a black wrestler as the top guy, except The Rock, and alot of people on here think he is not black enough to count :mjpls:

Yes companies have done good business with black champions and black wrestlers in top positions. :comeon: Don't make excuses for WWE being stubborn. Then again you look down on most non-WWE promotions so I doubt you really know much about this topic anyway.

1) name these companies. when JYD was the top guy in Mid South? Yeah, that's similar to what we're talking about. I say there's a big part of the COUNTRY that's all nerdy cacs and you wanna talk about some guys that were hot 35 years ago in 4 states
2) the only non WWE promotions I don't like are TNA and ROH. TNA is wack and everything I've seen in ROH is corny bland cacs who I can't tell apart from each other
