I was thinking about this the other day, there used to be anywhere between 10-12 million viewers watching wrestling weekly between WWF/WCW in the Attitude Era. Obviously, some people did move on from wrestling (some probably did go to MMA) but think of all the new fans there are who grew up on the Ruthless Aggression era and John Cena.
There has to be many more wrestling fans out there who just choose not to watch RAW every week. Maybe they watch the YouTube vids or just read about what happens or simply don't care.
But with how much access we have now with highspeed internet the indies and ROH and New Japan and CMLL are much more accessible. It makes it possible to be very well known without being in WWE.
Listen, when they start selling young buck shirts at Khols i'll be like "wow :vinceshock:"Where's Roman Reigns shirts sold?
They sell wwe shirts at hot topic. The only reason i know this is when they showed pictures of the bullet club shyt it was right next to wwe stuffListen, when they start selling young buck shirts at Khols i'll be like "wow :vinceshock:"
These are the same stores that sell ninja turtle tshirts and beer pong tables.
Its great for them but lets be real they're a niche in a niche store.
Every other major promotion has had well booked black champions except WWE. WWE just chooses not to give them the chance. Meanwhile their most marketable wrestlers are a black stable. Not a fan of them but that's very impressive and good for them. The only thing I have to add is this is why WWE doesn't have black champions or a black-centric top storyline like everybody on here wants. There is a big area in between NYC and LA that is all nerdy cacs and they want to see people who look like them. Same reason Macklemore, mac Miller, G-Eazy and Eminem after he stopped being good, are all top selling rappers

Yes companies have done good business with black champions and black wrestlers in top positions.I'm not talking about booking, I'm talking about business
No company has ever done good business with a black wrestler as the top guy, except The Rock, and alot of people on here think he is not black enough to count![]()
Hot topic has a wide range of consumers brehHot Topic appeals to a very specific crowd.
Young Bucks are a small fish in a small pond.
Yes companies have done good business with black champions and black wrestlers in top positions.Don't make excuses for WWE being stubborn. Then again you look down on most non-WWE promotions so I doubt you really know much about this topic anyway.
