Screenings around here are good time wise but I just hate them being in the middle of the week or on a Monday. But most start at 7. I got a super troopers screening I may hit up tonight
I'm fine with the time. But just where I live things are so spread out.

To expect someone to be able to drive half an hour during the day and then go back again after work during rush hour it's just a bit much.

They never use theaters on my part of town is what I'm saying and I moved over a year ago to make it worse

I have no clue what the hell that was about. Some dummy brought his seven year old daughter who was sitting right next to me which made this even more disturbing.

I would have rather used that 90 minutes to play God of War.

The trailers made it seem like there'd be more action in this

Saw it today and it is like a mixture of Leon, Drive, Oldboy and Taxi Driver but shot as an arthouse character study (same style as We Need To Talk About Kevin), so don't expect an action fest. Lynne Ramsay tells the story with an intimate focus on PTSD and leaves most of the violence in the background, taking a deeper look at the direct aftermath.
Let's just say the guy next to me fell asleep

Now I don't necessarily need a lot of action in my movies , but when I was watching it felt like a more boring version of Drive.

The score and soudtrack were dope though. It was interesting overall but I still feel it was lacking something and it ended on a really "meh" note.
I'm not sure I felt I got my money's worth by stepping away from GoW.

Maaaan this shyt was heat. Phoenix is a force in this movie bruh. A true movie of the year contender. Don't sleep on this. Phoenix acted his ass off and the story is brutal, but not in the way you'd expect.

This a weird ass movie, im An hour into it I can’t follow all these weird ass flash backs and random music. I hate when directors do this, shot is confusing for no reason. I honestly don’t get the appeal to smthese so called stylish artistic shyt. I can’t co-sign this shyt I’m about to turn it off.
