There's more proof that you guys come from African than proof that you didnt come from africa...

The only proof that blacks in America arent from Africa are YouTube videos that show side by side comparisons of obviously mixed/fairer skinned AA next to a melanesian and the darkest African they can find lol.

Theres no way to prove if our origins begin in Africa,we could started out in Oceania and migrated to Africa and the Americas. Makes alot more sense when you look at the looks of Pacific Islanders for multiple reasons. They have diverse looks among the population as far as people who look black, people who look latino, people who look asian. Then you look at a place like Fiji which they say has a crazy high rate of albinism, and these albinos are ostracized even today. So if they were ostracized today just imagine they had to have been long ago. These are the people who were probably forced out and became what we know as Europeans and Asians:respect:..This is only one theory of course, but the simplest explanation is usually the easiest and its still observable today why it makes sense. And i believe the Natives who were in America were just Oceanic people who crossed over when there was a land mass connecting us,they have discovered a land mass that once existed. I believe this to be the case vs crossing the Bering Strait, though both could have happened at different times.

It's different when you're in a city or a space where it's majority AA. Foreign blacks are forced to assimilate with us to a certain degree. But as the demographics change, they start letting shyt slip.Unless you're from a place with a large foreign black population, I wouldn't expect you to have experienced it. I have, and I'm 'acceptable'. :mjpls:

Being a NY'er and going to certain schools, being in certain environments where there are few bp period, I found myself in a lot of circles where I was one of few AA's. Yes, there was cultural disrespect toward us. Yes, there were a lot of what we would now call alt- Right anti- black attitudes. It was sort of an undercurrent. I usually had to be the one to check it when it got too flagrant, but it would have taken years of education to change ppl's minds and I don't have that kind of time.

And, ftr, I'm not anti- African, I'm anti- disrespecting my ancestors. It just so happens that a lot of them do it, just like white people, just like latinos, just like WI's, just like Asians. I don't care what color you are, I won't allow it. :birdman:

Yes I agree,But funny you say this,as this is my experience in interacting with black AA New Yorkers:francis:. Disrespect of culture, alt right rhetoric about how people speak and how they live. You need to stop and see the irony before it is too late. What if we put that label on all black people nation wide based on the way I've seen New Yorkers act?New York is one small place that doesn't reflect the rest of our experiences with black foreigners. Not rejecting what you are saying, but maybe its just the attitude of the people at large in these cities. If you keep it a buck you will have to admit New Yorkers, foreign and non foreign are the most assimilated and europeanized group just based on being one of the first "melting pots". This can't be argued, nobody can say I'm making that up because the phrase "melting pot" says that in itself. Many black people in a melting pot are going to take on dangerous Europeans ideologies.deprogram amongst yourselves, and help each other is what should be happening:respect:.

It's funny you would say that bc I posted a few days ago that a lot of the NY vs the South back and forth you hear is really foreign vs AA shyt. Are you sure they were AA? :usure:

New York City has the largest population of Black immigrants (at 686,814) and descendants of immigrants from the Caribbean (especially from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, Belize, Grenada, and Haiti), and of sub-Saharan Africans.

You talking a lot, but it's not based in the reality on the ground. NY AA's damn near lead the country in pan Africanism and it has been to our detriment. Financially and culturally. When they got here after the 1965 immigration act, we were all here wearing dashikis and afros. We threw open the doors for them, to our institutions, to our politics, to the economic advantages we had spent 200 yrs working for. The kumbaya approach has left us economically broken. I can barely find an AA- owned restaurant in Harlem.
We can socialize and be cool, but just like everybody else, including them, we have to empower ourselves first. You gotta save yourself before you can save the world. :yeshrug:

:mjlol: shut up. During slavery you literally had different tribes warring with each other not to mention.

Family members who didn’t want the next son, brother, cousin to become chiefs, king sold off or exiled.

I just watched a video of Burna boy saying the same thing his mother said and he literally meant.

Before there was an african American identity they were Africans in America a foreign land.

Some people’s origin as African American ADOS started in 1600’s other started in 1840’s.

:scust: What’s so hard to understand about that? In order for you to be an An african American there had to be some african who did not speak English, did not call himself American, was not born a slave and was taken to a foreign land where he did not want to be.

It’s that simple.

I haven't been on here lately, but are you making a big deal out of the comments Yvette makes at the Angela Project, an interracial baptist convention she's been invited by Pastor Cosby to speak at for the last two years.
I'm saying look at her rhetoric and tone there vs here: Where a woman simply said we're African :sas1:

People swear she doesn't have a problem with em tho :sas2:

Brehs here fighting the wrong enemy. Hopefully, one day you will wake up.

you've got it confused, it's not about enemies, it's about ADOS networking and building among ourselves exclusively....kinda like this bullshyt here:

^^^ notice how proud they are? how people yaaassss them everytime they do this shyt (using doors that we opened for them)...we just wanna do that too

if that bothers you then, that's YOUR issue not mine
