this was a slog to get through but Penn was fantastic

lowkey I feel like they asked Penn to do a dual part as the Jekyl and Hyde and he nixed it because he already does so much work with the Joe charcter
so they had to create this other character to be that guy but I didn't really work

I'm at the beginning stages of the last episode and I'm not understanding this at all. If Rhys is supposedly dead then why he is following Jonathan around?
Is he supposed to be an hallucination - one which he has been for the past 1-2 episodes even before it was announced that he's dead?

I don't know where this show has gone anymore.

He's never even met Rhys. He read his book, became obsessed with him and was imagining all of their interactions.

He connected with the book's tales of a guy coming from a shytty background to become a successful, normal person.
