You really can't hate on John Cena this year...

He's gotten away from the poop jokes and cut the serious intense promos he's good at. He will never be the rapper again but this is the next best thing until he turns heel (someday)

The Rock thing, a year long build was done well in hindsight and Cena definitly held his own and arguably won the duel on the microphone.

He's been consistently putting on good matches despite who he's against.

His promo last week against Punk was phenomenal.

The Rise Above Hate shirt was actually a good look.

He hasn't really won anything this year and won't win against Punk either at Night of Champions.

I think he deserves some credit, it's pretty amazing to think about how long he's been on the top. It's too bad he sells too much merch to ever take time off, he could really benefit from a break.

Everybody will be on his nuts the second he turns heel though but I'd say with confidence it won't happen for at least another year.

He's gonna beat Rock for the title at Wrestlemania and get his win back. Rock will beat Punk at Rumble.

Then he tried to bury the worth of the match by saying wins and losses at WM don't mean anything pretty much betraying the industry and showing how much of a non replacement he is to the Rock/Austin era in general.

The Rise Above Hate black shirt came about after the Rock called him out on his bright shirts and he kept getting upset in interviews by saying "This thing is so silly I got guys chanting cereal names at me". Dude is the worst in the industry, bar none. Cripple H is right next to him..especially after his whinefest when LA shytted him on str8 up after he finally laid down for once.

He can turn heel and I guarantee it won't do anything to ratings or change business. He's not big enough or current enough to matter in that regard. Cena is a heel today...he's a double talker who always whines after he loses.

Cena does pretty good for the most part. But we fans have such fickle minds that we find anything to hate on. Hogan was the good guy for years upon years before people grew tired of him while Cena has been at the top for like 6 years and we want him to change his persona. I've come to realize that Cena is gonna be the hero for at least the next couple of years until someone else proves they can hold it down. Then Vince may turn him heel but it's definitely not happening anytime soon.

Don't forget constantly going off script to serve his own purpose with Rock and Lesnar. There has been plenty to get on Cena for this year its just you haven't heard it as often from us because we just don't care as much.

Going off script is usually a moment for y'all. But now the script is sacred when it comes to Cena. Why they let him say that shyt about my heroes? The script is still real to me damnit.

And at don't care as much. 60-70% of the threads on here involve shytting on Cena in some way, shape or form. You guys don't care less. You care as much as you always have, if not more.

And Cena burying the title. So what? Punk has had the damn thing for eight months. Isn't it his job to bring some shine to the title? Why the fukk should Cena have to do all the leg work?

And even if he did you all would be bytching about how Cena is too soft.

But it's fun to watch the level of psychosis that Cena brings out of the Average smark fan. Local Mafia boss and super villain explosives expert R=G think there's some huge conspiracy to get Cena over using Make a Wish kids.

no cena or rather the way they treat him is a problem . They used the he was willing to bust his ass more than anyone else at the time to explain his elevation in the first place .but back then it wasn't a mostly young hungry roster. Now you don't think every wrestler there would kill to do interviews and make a wish and stuff ? Daniel Bryan , shameus, punk ( does them),ziggler,kofi , truth etc most would . On topic though Cena has gotten a lot more tolerable over the last few years. I never really cared for dude but i'm not going to sit here and deny that dude is VERY important to wrestling. His matches have gotten a lot better and when he is in the ring with someone who can go it's always a match.
