Nothing to do with the topic at hand but I always lmao whenever I see the scene of Bonnie being thrown off the horse. I dunno why it's so funny to me, people call me a monster for laughing
I don’t know why they’re trying to make Hattie McDaniel’s Oscar win a Black history moment when Black audiences during that time thought the cast was a bunch of sellouts and hated McDaniel for her mammy roles.
I find it hilarious that White American cinema’s greatest heroine is a blatant sociopath.Terrible film. a long drag of confederacy sympathy. I do recommend watching just to better understand why racist cac Americans act the way they do.
I always heard it was this great love story. Then I saw it, and she was trying to get with someone else’s man, and he didn’t want her. Then she married the other guy, who was old as fukk, and peeping her since she was a kid. She treated him like shyt and didn’t fukk for a long ass time. They divorced. Then when the other guy’s wife died, he still didn’t want her, so she finally decides she wants the old ass man she married and divorced.I find it hilarious that White American cinema’s greatest heroine is a blatant sociopath.
Isn't this garbage like 4 hours or some shyt?! what black man would watch a romance story set in the backdrop of slavery between 2 corny white folks?!?I never seen this movie. probably never will

I think they should play ALL these racist movies, uncut, in their entirety.
Caucasian Americans need to be shamed and stop trying to hide THEIR history....
