In MoS Zod threatens his mom and Supes gives him the beats (while leaving his mom behind with a bunch of pissed Kryptonians) yet here Lex threatens Supes' mom and he immediately falls in line.
This is the same guy that can pin point Lois' exact location somewhere in Africa even though she had been taken to a secret location with a bag over her head but he can't track his own mom in the next city over?

he heard his mom scream in MoS and was able to react in time...in this he didn't, and luthor had already taken her before he could react...and he didn't immediately fall in line...he was finna light his ass up with laser vision at first....then, when he first went to gotham, he didn't try to fight batman, he asked for his help...even said he was wrong about him....
as for the lois shyt: she's the love of his life and he's always tracking her.....that's how he was able to find her in Africa that fast....luthor even figured that out, that's why he used her as bait....

A plot point that means absolutely nothing if, according to Lex, Supes' cares just as much or even more about his mom.
Goyer and Terrio couldn't even figure out where to go with that honestly, the big "climax" of that argument was Lois' dumb-ass nearly drowning trying to get the Kryptonite spear and Supes being like 'I can't risk your life like this' like she ain't the dumb-ass who keeps getting herself in over her head. This chick nearly died three times in this movie so Supes had to save that ass, shyt was straight out of them cheesy 60s/70s Superman comics.

Luthor saying any man's "special lady" is their mother isn't any difference than Lois randomly saying Clark can't love her and be Superman at the same damn time. The only reason that might be is because she keeps putting herself in politically unstable positions where a Superman intervention might seem like he's choosing sides.
at this point, I don't think you even know what you're talking about cause what luthor said and what lois said are nothing alike....what's even more strange is that you go on to respond to your own statement with the logical answer....cause that's exactly why he cant be superman and love her...
