why? do you think it would've made the match draw better

you don't think bray had something to gain from undertaker putting him over in person?

bray basically had to beg for the match the entire time until taker texted him 2 weeks before the event declaring he would show up. the guy didn't even show face the entire feud.

how could you ever for a moment buy that bray was on his level? it's like taker couldn't even be bothered.

Where does "all of these L's" come from? :patrice:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can see, it's pretty rare that Bray ever gets pinned/submitted during live tapings.

He loses a lot at house shows, as does Rusev, but he's pretty protected overall. I'd almost put him in the realm of Rusev and Reigns with how he almost never takes a definitive L on camera.

During those Shield/Wyatt matches, he was the guy pinning Reigns.
He's beaten Sheamus, Kane, and Show relatively clean.
He beat Jericho 2 out of the 3 big matches in that feud, IIRC.
He went over Ambrose EVERY time (Ambrose has main-evented HIAC and is in the main for Payback)
Beat Ziggler.
Beat Bryan at the Royal Rumble last year and on Raw this year.

The only feuds he seems to have OFFICIALLY lost more than he won were against Cena and Taker.

Otherwise, he doesn't take many clean L's. He was even wrecking people at the Rumble this year. They have no idea what to do with him, but he's not Ambrose/Barrett-level on the loss tip.

...but I agree, Taker definitely should have showed up for a promo to make that match worthwhile and give Bray a chance to really shine. :ehh:

It's not really about his w/l record but the fact he doesn't get big wins.

Everybody beats everybody on raw and sd! but when it comes down to the big matches he doesn't get the job done imo

Yeah, it needed more context from Taker's end. Especially following the end of the streak.

This is the only L that matters and has the most weight. Had he beaten Cena at WM30, he would've had something to back up all that talk about taking down the "machine". But he lost and his credibility was gone.

Look at what became of Nexus, Wyatts and now soon Rusev after losing to Cena. The Shield Bros refused to do the job early in their careers against Cena and now they're all in the main event for the world title :myman:

And to make it worse, those idiots booked him the exact same way this past Mania. He talked about becoming the new face of fear but couldn't beat the previous face of fear.

Bray's problem is that he doesnt beat anyone, he doesnt look physically intimidating, and he spends all his time just running his mouth about some cryptic nonsense no one cares about. Even when he steps into the ring it isnt like he is some unstoppable powerhouse, a great technical wrestler, or a high flier. As far as im considered he could just stop showing up to work and I wouldnt give a shyt:manny:

Taker isn't the booker, lol @ him not doing him any favors like he's supposed to figure out what to do with another wrestler after he leaves

You don't know; when a net favorite takes a loss to guys like Cena, Taker or Orton, it was booked by them. Not by creative but specifically those wrestlers.

I would like to know what the thinking was behind not having any kind of exchange. Even if he doesn't fly out, fly to him and shoot some kind of video? (like when he cut his hair ahead of the Trips match)

Just minimum effort by everybody but Bray, who was cooking Dead Man on that mic for weeks.
