Man I wish I could do this. I think about it all the time, just leaving NYC for a couple of days & heading to a city I've never been too.

I really wouldn't mind walking around another city, but I think it would get boring or lonely after a while.

That sounds like a good idea, I heard Sixers' tickets go for real cheap.

I'm wait until early next year though, once I get into my place & hopefully by then my hours at work will be a bit better.

I'd stay clear of downtown bmore during the weekday unless your looking for youngins who be skippin class, or jogging white chicks. Them white chicks be :nice:, but they don't be givin nikkas a chance......

Try Park in DC, go to the lounges or just look it up online. DC isn't like Atlanta, the parties that are on are usually listed for all.

Don't come to GA, they will approach you at will. Especially in Gwinnett.

Some people will judge you if you plan to travel by yourself. They'll think you're either a loser with no friends or a scumbag. I never cared what anyone thinks, but it does sound a little wierd that I couldn't find just one person to get lost out of town with.

On the flipside, when someone finds out you've traveled somewhere one of the questions they always ask is "Who did you go with?" I'd feel replying "nobody".

Depends how you carry yourself. You can be seen as a loser with friends as well.

I wish I could dip without telling anyone, but I love to take trips solo. Flying is cool but if I can drive it's even better (That way I can smoke). I've been to training in Northern VA a few times...2 hour drive at the most but damn if it wasn't kind of fun.

Use to do this all the time when I lived in Germany. Jump on the bähn and get off in some random ass town and stay at a hostel or B&B. shyt is status to be in foreign land and be the only American, especially when you aren't the stereotypical American, they love a nikka. Use to do it heavy during the MySpace era hooking up with broads but that shyt cost

def like traveling alone. the best part you are not on anyone's schedule except your own. i'm a light sleeper so i'm usually up by 9/10 no matter what time i get in from the night. Nothing worse when you're up and ready to be out but all your peoples are still comatose.
- I'd prob prefer having a wing man if i'm going to a foreign country, in case things pop off.

And fukk those people anyway; they're just cowards who are scared to do anything on their own. In their heart of hearts, anyone who is clowning somebody for taking a trip dolo simply wishes they had the courage to do the same.
