I think Japanese are more students of Black American culture and have knowledge of old R&B, funk, and different genres they respect and maybe emulate because they think it’s different, “cool” or interesting but not because it’ll make them money and fame

I’d say k pop is all about making money and entertainment and then moving on to the next trend or Sound that new and hot. True vultures
