You ever struggle to find something to buy for yourself?

A nice camera and a couple of decent lenses? It's a hobby that gets you out of the house, scratches a creative itch, it's up to you if you want to head in the direction of street/landscape/wildlife/portrait/etc

Thank you for the suggestion. Only thing about that is, our phones + 3rd party editing software together are damn near as good as a having a good camera so can't I just do that with what I already own?

I think on the higher end, a real camera's still going to outperform a phone camera, but you have a point if you're just treating it as a hobby.
