The tiger didn't leave because it was gassed. Big cats are known to run at the first signs of a potential injury because an injury means it can't hunt and will most likely die.

If the tiger thought it could kill the bear without sustaining any life threatening injuries it would have done it. Lions and Tigers and shyt don't just get bored or run out of breath when they tryin to eat. Tigers aren't dumb, that bear was about to die but what good would that do the tiger if its gets injured and can't hunt its next meal?


Also sloth bears are like half the size of a grizzly bear.
