He wasn't what I thought he would be but let's not call him a failure. 4700 yards from scrimmage is probably above average career wise among all the running backs that make the NFL. 3 consecutive years over 1000 total yards may be not Hall of Fame status but he was still a very solid player when he was healthy.

True, I just thought he was gonna be pure piff coming out of college. Just could never stay on the field (whether injuries or having to split carries with another back).

I'll always have this though

- i've never seen a player near superstar status fall off to bum status so quickly.

Vlad Guerrero, last year when he signed w/the O's. Always had been one of my favorite MLBers - loved watching him hit and thought he could really do damage at OPACY. I knew he was getting :old:, but I ain't expect him to go :flabbynsick: that quickly, 'specially since he was coming off a good year in TEX.
