What you're saying is it's too nerve-racking to go for two to win the game on the final possession. That's gutless.
What part ain't you understanding?

If you know as a team you are going to go for the two point conversion for the win, look at the options.

If you wait to go for the 2 point conversion on the second TD to win the game, if it fails then you lose the game and if you get it you win.

If you go for the 2 point conversion on the first TD, and it fails you still give yourself an opportunity to tie the game on the second TD by going for two again.

That's better than waiting to go for it on the second TD since the failed two point conversion doesn't equal an automatic loss. It's about providing yourself a second chance if the two point conversion fails versus it being an all or nothing scenario waiting until the second TD.

2-point conversion has like a 50% success rate so it's better to just start off with it when the team is 14 points down.

If you don't get it at the second TD, you're gonna lose the game.

You also lose if you don't get the second conversion after not getting the first. The odds are far better just kicking the extra point. I'm not gonna keep going back and forth over this.

I must be tripping too. Clock would have been stopped with 40 seconds on 4th down right? What are we missing here.

The pass
The same works in reverse but at least you have the option to decide your fate. :dahell:

The NFL uses both a 40 sec and 25 sec play clocks..administered stoppage 25..and then normal 40 sec play clock .they picked the ball off with 1:33 left..Lions run a play and TB stops and calls a TO..let's say 1:27..Lions kneel on 2nd down and run 40 secs off..next kneel is 3rd and there's pretty much no time left they can stay in the huddle and don't have to run a play...that's why y'all see so many teams just start walking to midfield and shake hands with like 30 secs left..
