Because it's not logic and it it should be ignored until people actually bother to learn what colorism is. Colorism is the system of discrimination where darker skin colors are treated worse according to skin color and face more prejudice. If skin color is 1-12, 12 being the darkest, 10 is bad, 11 is terrible but 12 is treated the worse.

Even if I play along with this ridiculous misconception, the assertion that "colorism goes both ways", would mean lightskin people are treated moderate and pale white people are treated the worst. So please stop saying this stupid shyt.
