I didn’t watch MTV like that. But even if I did we didn’t consistently have cable cuz my pops refused to pay for it. He would always get the illegal box and then like 6 months later the cable company would cut it off and we’d be without cable again for another 6 monthsi was like not even 10... wasn't in a "circle" just came home, did my homework and watched tv lol. didn't start with the posing till later

mtv was amazing looking back. beavis and butthead, jams, raps, that club show, real world... truly groundbreaking entertainment
i didn't have BET, didn't even know it existed til like high school
