Despite fan-created rumors, Hoffa didn't get knocked out, but rather stumbled backward after being hit, which Dizaster followed up with a flurry of even more punches. Things took a turn for the worse for Math because after he was struck by Dizaster, he was then attacked by other members of the crowd, which turned a brief 1-on-1 into a legitimate gang assault or "jumping" situation. What made the brawl even more of a handicap for Math, was the fact that he was being pulled back by security the entire time that people were attacking him. Multiple angles of the fight were released shortly after news broke of the KOTD violence that erupted, and it can clearly be seen in one video that Math was being held back by multiple individuals while Dizaster and others were charging at him.
At one point Math was taken down to the floor and attacked by random men even after Dizaster had been separated from the fight. Math eventually managed to rise to his feet. Enraged, he shouted for Dizaster to come fight him again, and he even tried to charge at Diz, only to get pulled back by security and others trying to break up the fight. Once Math was held back, Diz sprang at him with a Superman Punch, followed by a straight left jab. Security pulled Math back and you can clearly see other's grabbing at his arms interfering with his ability to throw punches back, meanwhile Dizaster powered forward throwing multiple punches before Math managed to grab him in a tight clench. The security behind him along with the aggressive forward pressure from Dizaster caused Math to fall to the floor once again with Dizaster on top of him throwing punches down on him.
Diz was eventually pulled off of Math by people in the crowd along with one of Daylyt's close friends, UTK (Universe The King). Even after being swarmed by multiple people, Math rose to his feet once again screaming at his attackers to face him, but he was eventually pulled away from the scene for good. After Dizaster and Math made their exits, the KOTD BOLA 5 venue was left in utter shambles. Now, here is where things get interesting.
After doing some investigating, Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes, got word from various sources that the altercation was potentially set up from the start to catch Math slipping. According to various respectable and legitimate inside Battle Rap sources, Dizaster arrived at the event with dozens of Grape Street Crips, and plotted to get the best of Math before the battle even began. While these claims have absolutely ZERO proof to back them up, the fact remains that after Dizaster's initial attack, Math was pounded on by multiple people. You can clearly see in the footage that bottles were thrown at him, and at one point, a man wearing a white button-down shirt with purple bandanna designs on it actually picked up a table and attempted to hit Math with it.
What's even more interesting, is that it appears as though one of Daylyt's associates, Aktive, actually threw punches at Math as well. Let it be known, that Daylyt nor UTK attempted to harm Math in any way during the mayhem. Also, while the fight ensued, fellow Smack/URL battler Aye Verb, actually jumped in at one point to help get some of the assailants off of Math.
In the end, Math managed to walk away from the fight with little to no injuries, however, the sport and culture of Battle Rap has once again suffered a great damaging blow that could cause roadblocks for its evolution in the future. Word spread so fast, that even Slaughterhouse members Joe Budden and Royce Da 5'9 commented on the situation on Twitter. Royce was particularly disappointed in Dizaster given the fact that they are currently bing featured on TV for the Total Slaughter reality series. The official Total Slaughter Twitter account event tweeted about how they've already lost a sponsor that they had been trying to lock down for a while over Dizaster starting a fight with Math. They tweeted, "We're all losers tonight. Smh"
