Yea man that's why I kind of lost it in the theater when the scene with Barry going back in time to warn Bruce about Lois happened. I was like damn they gonna do it but of course WB fukked it up.

We don't know if there was executive meddling though. Look at what happened when they decided to make justice league. They totally butchered his vision. Word on the street is Snyder friends and family watched justice league and told him its even worse than he thought and he shouldn't ever watch it. The studios version was horrendous compared to what we eventually got. They literally cut tons of valuable character development to give us shytty jokes and gratuitous shots of wonder woman

I think if Snyder had a good team to reign him in on some of his dumber ideas(Martha scene, the forced Clark and Lois romance, retelling batmans origin story etc.) We could've had a great bvs film. I think we got good foreshadowing to show that superman doesn't particularly give a shyt about humanity from him looking bored or annoyed when he saves people to his mom literally telling him some bullshyt like 'this world doesn't owe you a thing' we could've seen those moments flash back to us when we watch superman flip and link up with Darkseid. Then he'd start the journey of trying to make things right, and make up for all the people who died because of him. We would've gotten a version of superman who values humanity more because he lost it and had to earn it back through good deeds eventually turning into the version of superman we know. That kind of character development would've been insane and would've made people like what is essentially a very boring superhero.

Batman was that nikka trained all his life for the day superman got outta line... if he ever gave himself superpowers on par with Kryptonian physiology in that universe he'd be unstoppable...

Injustice was moral degeneracy of superheroes going down the path of evil. It was a slow burn story that was at the end of every issue of Year 1-3.

but then obviously Snyder knocked the Snyder Cut outta the park so at least we finally saw that. We'll never get his version of injustice tho
