^^^^Yea. The P90X is the only yoga I've done so far. Extremely long and kinda boring but it does work. Got a lot more flexible in just a few weeks.

well its actually a smart way of waking the fukk up in the middle of hindu temple shyt

you be fallin asleep thinkin about transformers or some shyt then some sadhus come up to you like :beli: and make you start doing sequences

 I don't know what the hell a "sandhu" is, sounds like an usher, but I get it..

So there are no chair in a Hindu temple? do the women sit next to the men or behind them? can there be a woman priest??

I love yoga!!!

I prefer slower, more purposeful styles of yoga that focus on the mental and breathing aspect of the poses. I've tried more athletic/aerobic yoga classes that just didn't do it for me although it was a great workout.

My mental clarity and focus really improves when I'm doing it consistently. My balance and posture are way better. I'm more flexible and focused and feminine in the sack :shaq:

The only thing I didn't like is when I do bikram yoga (which is hot yoga, in a room with temps of like 105), my muscles are so relaxed that I sometimes overextend them and feel :flabbynsick: the next couple days. Great for detoxifying though

:ohhh:.....interesting....

I never did yoga, I picked tai chi for a Senior Project in high school....might hae to try this out one of these days

Life changing... every session is like a drop of blue dye in a large bowl of water, the more you put into it, the more benefits you will see.

For me it's:

Mental

Spiritual

Physical (not do undervalue the physical benefits, they are amazing..yet I feel the most benefits in the mental and spiritual planes)

Vinyasa Flow is amazing, It has helped me calm down and not snap on people. The patience and challenge is amazing, as well as the flexibility. My body has also improved as well as stamina.

I've been practicing 3-4xa week since January, so 9 months? It's the best thing i've done for myself in a while. Sorry to hear about you past injuries, be careful. As for Bikram, I have yet to try-I will, the 104 degree heat :obama:. Right now I am working on my core strength so I can do some of the positions from the linked video.

only yoga I've done was the one in p90x, amazing how much you can sweat within such a small area square footage-wise. definitely helped my flexibility

I couldn't believe how much I was sweating after my first session of Yoga X. I didn't hit all of the 'preztel poses' but I did what I could and felt great afterwards.
