Im one of the oldest old heads in here and that only speaks to a portion of old ones. I've listened to over 10,000 new artists and alot of shyt is hot, alot of shyt is wack. Problem with the new generation is not knowing when shyt is wack and being labeled a hater cause they don't want to rough up any feathers. Alot of the new artists want to be labeled as spitters but won't take to time to rhyme over a beat that helps their cause. Instead they rhyme hard on soft emo ass production. Alot of the new artists come and go within 6 months to a year.

And before you start, I checked out every single track. And I really shouldn't have The Nick Grant record was the best in the list but track is still nothing to write home about. Dude's voice and rhymes are generic.

The reality is that this generation really is woat. The cream always rises to the top and the fact of the matter is that 21 Savage has way better songs than all those dudes. Let's not even talk about Drake and ASAP Rocky.

I agree with this, there's a lot of talent still around in the game, but it's nowhere near blowing up like the shyt mumble rappers do

however, that's the job of artists who are actually dope. They'll either execute what you've heard before at a very high level or they'll create some shyt you haven't heard before (also at a high level).
