The writers they get aren't great to begin with generally, but even when they are, the system they work under is fundamentally broken and not conducive to producing quality writing. They work under insane deadlines, are subjected to having their work changed at the whims of Vince, have to fit in all the corporate speak that Stephanie demands even though it means none of the characters talk like actual people 90% of the time, rarely get to directly interact with wrestlers and are often resented by them, and work under the constant threat of being fired (turnover is super high in WWE). That anything worthwhile gets written in their system is a miracle.I havent watched anything but the PPV's in about a year so I cant act like im the loop like that....but I mean aint shyt really changed. I wanna say though Sasha was excellent in NXT, but I hate this womens revolution shyt. The matches on NXT had way better work, less insane risks and got over way harder. Of course character wise they killed everyone on the main roster, Alexa was the only chick who managed to stand out. And even if she is wack now....they are all wack so whats the difference.
I really dont get how they got 25 writers and every character on the show is terrible.
I do wonder if NXT's creative being better generally means that these problems don't exist.
