You buggin, OS is the best site for sports gaming, period. You rarely see sheepish behaviour on there and these nikkas know their games/sports and expect them to go hand in hand. Nothing wrong with that. They also provide the best custom options (roster/sliders) for games compared to anywhere on the net. Dope site.

This no editing shyt is garbage. I don't like playing sports games online because of the fukkery and I rathe rplay offline franchise/association modes with custom options to play a realistic game. EA crazy if they think imma finally cop a madden after years of passing em up to not be able to get it to play how i want.

OS has very overzelous mods now, it's not fun like back when Live 99 came out.

nikka, slider tweaking isn't about beating or dominating. It's about getting the game to play realistic, win lose or draw. I do agree that it's early, but the majority of these early sliders are for testing purposes, it's going to take months till the best slider sets are accomplished after countless testing. Again, if you think ppl do this to gain advantage you couldnt be any more wrong. I didn't call you clueless for no reason nikka.

If editing is that important to you, don't buy or sell the game fam.

Not when you're playing someone else so much, but when you're doing your own franchise thing.

I see what the disconnect is I believe...

We have some nikkas who just like hoppin on live, finding someone to play, and long as the actual game play isn't bad they're cool. Which is what the madden staff have tried to capitolize on. Those people who only play online against other people in communities.

They forgot about us nikkas who don't go online to play too much. Those of us who want the sim experience, not the arcade experience.

I enjoy playing the cpu or people who understand and want sim football such as myself. See back in like '97 I was all about playing other people until I realized how FEW people know about football. It isn't fun playing those people to me.

I can beat them til death simply because they can't figure why I kill them passing the ball when they spend the entire game in a goal line defense . Or if they play exclusive dime or quarter so I just run the ball.

Most nikkas wonna jump on and just sling bombs or run with their qb as if he's a rb.

No sports game has perfect roster updates, meaning everything is 100% accurate when compared to real life transactions. This is where nikkas like us come into play. By doing research and knowing the sport you are playing in the virtual world you can get it to match exactly what is going on in the real world. Video games developers aren't this dedicated to their work. You may get Roster updates from time to time, but they aren't 100% accurate, ever. Things like that may be too time consuming for them when they can be working on the newest installment of their franchise months from now when the sports real life season is beginning to take shape and things need to be updated quickly to match it for the sim guys.

For example, missing players from the game (undrafted rookies or FA's). shyt like that can kill the authenticity for nikkas who enjoy sim games. Players who get better/worst during the season and are not properly matched by their video game counterparts. Players who aren't rated properly is one of the biggest issues with sports games and the ppl in the community that do weeks/months of research are able to properly fix things like that. shyt like that ruin the sim experience for a lot of gamers out there, including me. I play with a NBA 2k12 Roster file that was modded to replace Brooklyn with New Jersey and give the nets a Jersey that resembles the new one they got for this season. shyt like that makes the game for me and a simple "roster update" wont do shyt like that either. For nikkas like you who could care less, that's fine, enjoy your experience with the game. Not every sports gamer is the same, you have the casuals and the hardcore (sim) crowd. You fall in the former category.
