Hey man, not sure who you are, but yes... I the internet legend that you speak of.

I went viral before viral was even a word. Before macros. Before YouTube. Back when memes were done with Photoshop.

My blog was picked up by Tucker Max, but he decided not to go forward with it after he found out that I was a 17 year old black kid, not exactly what his demo was looking for. The guy ended up giving me some really good advice which has gotten me to where I am today. As much sh!t as I've talked about him over the years he's really smart and I was really blessed to be coached by him. I let out a chuckle anytime I see a girl thumbing through his tall tales.

Since then I've made a few more attempts to break into the online media space. I ran a news talk program on my campus that got a lot of attenton:

and I had a podcast that lasted for a few episodes...

then everyone involved got real jobs. We'll probably get back into that as my company grows and can fund such an effort.

But yeah, you're from NeoGAF? Incredible. I remember those days. I'm touched. Who were you back then? How is that forum? I haven't read that place in nearly 10 years now. I hear the main dude is a rich aspie. Funny stuff.

As far as work goes, all of my serious jobs I've landed because of who I am. My last two jobs were from people that I met on my incredible journey on the internet. You would be surprised who reads this stuff.

There will be a book written about my life someday. In the meanwhile, here are some classic photoshops:
