I dual boot with 11.10 on my laptop. I also have 10.10 and linux Mint 11 on my main PC with VMWare. It's pretty cool to use something other than windows every so often.

I have a few distros running. Used to have Debian Squeeze/Stable on my Netbook, but i've made a full transition now to Fedora because on their next major release they're using MATE by default (!!!).

Aside from source-based distros like Gentoo & Arch (i love running a nice, snappy custom config), gotta say my favorite is still OpenSUSE with KDE Plasma. It's the best Desktop experience i've had with Linux.

If anyone needs help with anything, i'd be happy to help. Not an expert just a longtime user.

I dunno brehs I still got Linux but Windows 7 & 8 have been so good to me it feels pointless now.

Like what's the benefits of it anymore besides viruses which I don't get :yeshrug:

Running Linux in 2012? What part of the game is that? :wtf:
Close minded are usually the ones who limit themselves to closed source operating systems.

And this is coming from someone who likes windows

Man I am dual booting with Vista... its just so god damn slow w/all the anti-virus programs and all that. I think my Windows install is infected and the shyt I have just isn't fixing it

For web browsing Ubuntu is perfect... comp boots up in like 20 seconds, and when it boots its done

The lack of straightforward support does kind of suck, but if you work within its realm it is pretty good. Still got some issues but I'm slowly working around them
