Is this the first rapper to get a death penalty charge:ohhh:
he's the first I can think of.

BTW I think this dude is demonic, and I know this isn't a politics thread, but I'm against the death penalty. Not super mad at the decision, and I don't have a huge problem with Melly specifically not being alive, but I'd still prefer he got life with no parole instead.

Either way he prolly funna serve atleast a decade before the actual pu isometric gets carried out and he exhausted all his appeals.

Life in solitary is a worse punishment IMO.

I'm not trying to be overly argumentative with you, but the issue is that most life sentences aren't served in solitary.

Death Row housing is usually more cramped and those inmates usually have a lot less freedom and more restricted movement than inmates in general population serving life sentences.

Not to mention all methods of capital punishment in the United States are fairly brutal, and the knowledge that you're going to die in a pretty brutal way, but you don't know exactly when, is a lot of mental anguish and torture.

If you're serving life, you can at least settle into a routine and enjoy things like hitting the yard and socializing more with other inmates.

But you're 100% right that he'll serve at least a decade regardless. There will be so many appeals like you said. A big reason why I'm against capital punishment is how much more expensive it is than life in prison.
