Yeah, the south has their share of disgusting c00nery, but lets not act like the other labels back in the 90s and early 00s promote negative images of black folk repping (and dying) over colors and other frivolous bullshyt. I know the East and West have blood on their hands but there was a balance..these Southern cats are on a whole other level. In all fairness, when the South took over, the social consciousness element was lost forever in Black urban music. Something that traditionally only came from the East and West, incl. the Geto Boys to some degree. There is zero positivity in these cats music.
