Not really. Tariq was saying she would be found not guilty along with a majority of black people saying the same thing
People trying to switch up the narrative to make it sound like this wasnt what they arguing the whole time. Im upset about the sentence too. But Tariq didnt say shyt about that.

FOH. The Judge has the discretion and authority to enhance the sentence issued to the defendant.
You need to shut the fuk up bc you don't know how the legal process works. No, the ultimate decision is on the Judge, that's literally her job.
:what:Hold that for talking shyt and running around with egg on your face after the real intention comes out. Dumb m'fers thinking that Judge was going to be favorable. That's why I stayed quiet and didn't say shyt until the actual sentence came down. You suspect ass race instigating agents look stupid as shyt rn. "Bbbbuutt BButtt Tariq hadz said.. "

Maybe that’s how it works in New York but not in Texas. In Texas the defendant can choose if she wants to be tried and sentenced by a judge OR the jury. In this case she choose the jury to handle her sentencing. Ain’t you a lawyer? You and @String Bell the only lawyers I know that are always wrong about shyt pertaining to the law.
