Dan Wiederer is one of the most "cautious" local media Bears guys and never has a positive thing to say. If he is feeling this way after day 3 of camp its quite the signal. He almost always leans towards the negatives.

Basically all the local media is gushing about Caleb. I have been telling everyone it will be clear by the end of preseason that the Bears have a bonafide franchise QB on their hands.

This isnt to say it will be all roses, Caleb is still a rookie and there will be ups & downs. I think its likely he has a strong rookie season for a QB, maybe even sets some Bears franchise QB records, and then explodes in year 2.
