Looking at mock drafts and the 2 wild card teams are the giants and chargers let's say the chargers trade back from 5 with minn and they draft JJ and the giants draft Romeo or Malik one of those two could drop to nine if I'm the gm I can't trade back if Malik nabers is on the broad at nine

Harrison should be the pick and a trade down at 9.

IF, a big IF, but Fields proving he's the guy makes that the best option.

You provide him 3 very good to great Wrs, two solid TE's and with the trade back they can still get Olu who is the best pass blocking OT. or a really good edge player.

It just depends on if they fell in love with Caleb.

IF Fields is *great* is better than if Caleb is *great* only because you get the best WR prospect in years and so much draft capital.

However, Poles and staff might feel Caleb has the best chance to be that and is safer.

I hate the Beards didnt fire Getsy last year(2022) because it would be much clearer who was more at fault.

If Fields literally needs a 96 bulls ass WR core to do work you have to move on.

At that point you can probably put any competent qb back there and do fine, but the issue is will Fields be able to elevate those around him. nikkas like Mahommes obviously got that ability and I feel if you have a chance to take a qb in that mold you have to go for it.

I was a huge fields truther for a while but the writing is on the wall.

Rest of the league agrees hes mid. Poles doing damage control leaking he hasn't been shopping him when its obvs if someone came to him with a 1st or 2nd hed do it. People probs offering dirt for him. So Bears fans want to trade the 1 pick for a "haul" when we all know the most integral part of every team now is the qb. It makes 0 sense they still cain see this lol

hey lets trade the qb that can net us 3 firsts minimum for a dude we can't give away. logical.

I wouldn't say he is azz but he's a great athlete that struggle with post snap reads and has inconsistent footwork but I feel he is still a starter in this league but I'm taking Caleb over him 24/7
