This could be completely meaningless tho, cause if Chicago evaluates him as the guy, they're drafting him.

Bears GM went meta by trading last year's pick in order to get into position to draft an ultra, top ~3 QB generational prospect of the 2000's.
If it pans out the way most are thinking, that'll be looked at as your GM's 1000 IQ play and all that's left is calling checkmate on draft night.

No reason to "get cute" at this point, you already did that and that's why you got this opportunity. Pass and you may be stuck rebuilding a rebuild. A bird in hand is worth two in the bushes right now.

A niche group of people want to keep Fields while the mass majority of the fanbase wants to draft Williams.

Breh everyone who was at the senior bowl is reporting and saying the same thing that the Bears are taking Caleb I can understand if y'all thought I was capping about my former teammate uncle being a former NFL scout but now multiple NFL insiders and NFL reporters are reporting the same thing I told y'all I was told last month this has been the worst kept secret that the bears are drafting Caleb everyone in this thread should know I rock with Fields and I still believe he could be a top 8 to 12 quarterback in the NFL, but Caleb ceiling is higher than Justin's he has a quicker release,a better feel in the pocket, is a more accurate passer and his mechanics are better than Justin coming out of college
