Justin Fields has to maintain success in order to stop the narrative slander.

The problem is he goes from top 5 QB one week to the worst QB the next week

Total QBR the last 5 games

20.1
69.5
78.1
12.8
73.9

His worst games cant continue to be that bad. shyt like that causes people to expect him to mess up at the end of games. Fields has been very good in 3 of the last 5 games so you know the talent is there. Eliminate the trash games and he'll be QB1 next year.

Honestly with the way qbs look, wouldnā€™t it make sense to keep fields as a backup?

Would be an expensive backup. People troll but a gang of teams would definitely choose him over their current qbs. Atl, steelers, patriots raiders off the top of my head.

Someone will pay him 100%. Anyone with a brain can see this is coaching malpractice. Would Tomlin lose a game with a 12 pt lead with 4 mins left :mjlol:

How much money u really think he can command on the open market, as far as Iā€™m concerned he needs competition, he not at that level where he defacto starter

But I still think he can eventually turn into a franchise dude but we have to see it in a full season first so next year it should definitely be a competition at qb

When Fields was starting, the team averaged 22ppg (including the Minnesota game he didn't finish). If I only count the games since Denver, they've averaged 26.75.

In those same games, the teams playing the Bears have averaged 29.6 and 25.25 respectively. Denver and Detroit were games that never should've been lost, and we don't know what would've happened in that Minnesota game. They were only down 6 points when he got hurt.

If you're curious what those numbers look like when Bagent started, it was 19 for the Bears and 19.75 for other teams.

I've been reprimanded for less at work. How is Flus still coaching this team?? :wow:
Mccaskeys are pure trash. Think Jim McMahon once said, as long as they own the team, the Bears will never win. And he's been proven to be correct so far.
