Glad I tapped out on this show mid way through season 2.

Life is too short to waste time on shows like this :hubie:

I guess I'm one of the few people here still feeling the show, although I thought certain aspects of the finale were clunky. Like

How all the adults handled the Lottie situation. From Shauna suggesting the hunt, to Van/Taissa calling off the doctors but not really talking to Lottie and trying to stop her. Misty going for the kill when Lisa was more scared than a threat. Was surprised to see Natalie go though, and her being elected Antler Queen in the past. Hope Coach Ben wasn't the one to start the fire.

Just hope when it comes back for Season 3 there is more focus on the plotlines and maybe they play with the episode structures in terms of the cutting back and forth between the 2 timelines.

Season 1 was better, but season 2 was like a 7/10 to me.

They tied up things too nicely with the adult Shauna shyt. Ben definitely did what happened at the end of the episode.

It wasn’t even bad it was just uneventful and dry.

Remidns me of the later seasons of dexter. I think the problem with shows like this is they don’t have a grounded set or rules they follow. Every new thing that happens feels like they are just pulling it out of nowhere. They are gonna keep thee cast on the island for as long as possible because they dont know how to move the show forward without it

I haven’t looked into it but I also get the feeling they were on a time crunch with filming this season; every thing just felt rushed.

Showtime does have a rep for having diminished quality with their series tho, Weeds, Dexter, Shameless, but damn this was only the second season.

Homeland.

This feels like the dry spell of a 4th season rather than a 2nd. I have a feeling this would have been better as a miniseries

It’s starting to feel real “Lost-ish”. Hope they realize that it’s not a good thing to drag out the supernatural element too long. Because you reeaally have to explain that shyt later for people to be satisfied
