Pac's an industry plant, how are you starring alongside Janet Jackson after only 2 years in the game? - circa 1993

MJ's an industry plant, dude been on TV since he was a baby - circa 1979

Aaliyah's an industry plant, you seen her family and the team she's got? - circa 1994

Tbh paca story of an execs daughter playing His record sounded fugazi asf.. Considering he comes from a stage school background, wouldn't be surprised if he was.

I don't know about all that plant stuff.
What I do know is that Cordae is from the DMV, and he can actually rap.
I'll support just on the strength of that.

It’s just crazy to me because dude is maaaad average but he getting so many crazy placements.

But I can’t hate though at the end of the day. At least he pushing real shyt.

shyt just seem weird. No quality tape out (or any tape fr), very minimal amount of songs and very average rapping.

I think the reason people pushing him is because the industry want him to be that next big “real rapper” but it’s being done in a fabricated feeling way.

Not like it was back then when you saw and felt the grind/growth/skill.

I’m speaking specifically on him though. It’s some new nikkas I feel fit that growth/grind/skill mold. Saba being one of them for me.

For me an industry plant is someone who hasn't put work in suddenly appearing everywhere, and not from any viral form. They may claim to be independent, but are signed . Prior to their first public apoeaappear,, their new persona iOS created, their style conceived and then they leave the factory

The industry is shaping him up to be the next Cole. Apparently his album is crazy so I'll reserve judgement. I do like that positive vibe he's on.

He's not plastered on billboards, songs everywhere, or has a huge following so the placements are ok imo.

It is funny how some people can be on opposite ends of the spectrum though. Some of the young folks view him the same way you do but not because they think he's average as a rapper; they just can't vibe with a rappity-rap nikka.

Yeah I been seeing the Cole comments everywhere too. “Young Cole”. He himself seems to be taking up that style.

I also heard some comments about his album from some respected artists/people. One being Ali, TDE’s engineer.

But yeah like I said, at least he pushing the real. Hope the tape hard. Just needs something legit for me to truly respect him as a rapper.

And yeah, some of the youngins just straight up call dude corny lol. I think he respected by the majority of them though. Which is good, because it keeps real shyt alive.
