I don’t think that anyone is validating the Grammys. I haven’t half watched the Grammys since MJ’s death & I’m sure most black people are the same.
My problem is the white washing of black genres. The Grammys only solidified my larger point. Per others grammys coverage, b/c again I did not watch, you had Cardi winning rap album, Tori winning in two gospel categories & JLo’s non singing a$$ in a Motown tribute. This whitewashing is disgusting.
