I'm not really a fan of either dude to really care enough to wager anything breh. I just want to see a good fight. :manny:

which i think we'll see. It's a good clash of styles. Boxer/swarmer vs a sharp boxer puncher.
Rances is long and lanky so Bey gonna have to be a lil more aggressive and really get inside and get out.

Lowkey, this is a real solid ass fight. I think it might be a sleeper as far as entertainment goes.

Yeah, Im looking forward to it as well because I see it how you do. Im wondering how Bey's defense holds up under Rances Barthelemy's long reach and shots from the outside & vice versa with Rances dealing with Bey sitting back and attempting to counter him to death:ehh:

shyt's getting no hype down here either. Haven't heard any plugs on the radio, no posters, or billboards. A decent amount of tickets have been sold, but it's not close to being sold out.

PBC + Mayweather Promotions are horrible promoters imo. Just another example of no promotion being done:snoop:

@LauderdaleBoss Did you figure the seating shyt out?

I ended up getting section 107 seats, like you suggested, which in turn was the same place my wife wanted to sit so it worked out. My disciple rolling too and it's his 1st fight live, so he might get spoiled by them types of seats especially for those prices. I've had decent seats before, but never that close to the ring. Somebody's mouth piece might fly into a nikka lap.

Gervonta Davis is on the card too. When I see him in DC a month ago, he knocked dude's mouthpiece into the crowd....he might do it again:whew:

I'm feeling really @HARLEM AL like about this fight. I don't like neither of these muthafukkas. Barthelemy is talented as shyt but he has the tendency to be a lil lazy in the ring. Kinda reminds me of Thomas Dulorme a little.

Don't even get me started on Mickey Bey. :mjlol:

i feel the same way but if there is one fight that reinforced a lesson about boxing being the theater of the unexpected its bradley vs provodnikov

i know if you go back to the early days of the OG thread, nikkas were restless for some fights..because so many were being cancelled or postponed in early 2013

shyt i remember i only watched bradley-provodnikov card only because i just wanted to watch some boxing :sadbron:..wasnt all that interested in watching bradley struggle box with someone that was brought on as a cherry pick...but it was something to tide me over until rios-alvarado 2 a couple weeks after that

got a dope opener in jessie vargas and wale omotoso and then of course one of the damndest wars ive ever seen in the main event

so i put it in my mind that something can pop off even on fights like this

I think it's gonna be a good fight period. Rances didn't run through Algenis Mendez and Mickey Bey is better than him. Matter of fact, Bey is gonna be the best opponent Rances Barthelemy has faced:yeshrug:

Yep.

And for some odd reason, they think they are doing a great job:snoop:

:francis:

I checked the seats again like an hour ago, and them shyts barely moving. They sold a decent amount, but it could be a lot better.

It's crazy, cuz most cats I speak to would go just off of the strength that Floyd is going to be there supporting his fighter getting a title shot against an undefeated dude.

Fight sells itself, if they were to just put it out there. shyt's crazy. :snoop:

They are horrible at promotion. I thought Mayweather Promotions with Al Haymon behind it would take off as the new GBP....but apparently, they have no idea what they are doing, and unless you're already an established fighter with a fanbase, I don't see anyone becoming a big star under Floyd without self promoting themselves, which kind of defeats the purpose of a promoter:dead:

Card is solid. Rances is Cuban. Fight is in Florida. Tickets should be sold out, it's not like it's a 10,000+ seat venue. And, I think the ratings may not be as good as they could've been, because I LIVE here in Cleveland and have yet to see one commercial about the fight or anything on Cleveland.com about it either.....and the fight is tomorrow:snoop:

Im tired of complaining about Mayweather Promotions lack of promotion, but I think Floyd could really elevate Boxing on a national level if he would focus and promote a little harder due to the fact he has so many people that watch his every move.

Floyd has not posted 1 single thing about this fight to his 6.87 million followers on his twitter page...not one. That's crazy to me, because even if only a 10% tuned that's 687k viewers which = more ratings/more money:wow:
