Y'all think Deonna Purazzo will be a hot free agent when it's time for her to leave Impact?

Doubt it. She's pretty good, but she's really let herself go since leaving NXT (and it's not a fat over muscle deal like it is with a Taya Valkyrie or a Jordynne Grace, either) and her ego can't endear her to the top brass at some of these companies (she's probably the only person whose NXT story actually makes me less sympathetic towards her). And I'd imagine that Kenny, Cody, and the Bucks remember her bailing on All In when WWE came calling.

Maybe people see past this and bring her in regardless. WWE isn't happening, but AEW might be a good landing spot from a talent standpoint. She'd just have to know that there's no way she'll be booked like she is in Impact and be comfortable with that fact, so who knows if it would actually work out since she apparently thinks she's better than she actually is.

She's a better promo than I figured and is decent in the ring so it couldn't hurt for AEW to add her.

But I think she's kind of missing that "it" factor that Britt, Sasha, Thunder Rosa, Bianca etc have for her to be that sought after

Forgot about that. She was Marty Scrull's girlfriend at the time so I imagine that was a big reason why they booked her in the first place.

She's good friends with Britt Baker, so I think she'll end up in AEW at some point. I've listened to both Deonna and Britt on Oral Sessions, and it seems like they want to work a program with each other or even be a tag-team. It sounded like they both pushed for it when AEW had the working relationship with Impact, but it never happened for whatever reason.

“Me and Chelsea pitched being a tag team. Me, Chelsea, and Rachael Ellering pitched being kind like being a female Undisputed Era, Shield type thing. I pitched a ton of ideas. They had me lose a couple of times on TV, I pitched losing and making that a thing until I snapped. 'I don't even need to win, just let me keep the armbar and get disqualified and that can set up with this babyface.' I would do extra promos and film stuff at home. At the end of the day, I put every bit of me into that place to make it work it and it didn't.

"Me and Chelsea were told, 'We just don't know why being best friends would be a tag team. Being best friends doesn't mean you're a tag team.' Um...we have pictures together, we travel the world together, she's legitimately been my best friend for like seven years. We work together and there's a dynamic there because we literally spend every day of our lives together. For some people they see it, for others, that's not what they see. I thought it was absurd that I couldn't be a tag team with my best friend because we were best friends.”

I prefer when she has her mid-section covered up of course,

But besides that, she's looked strong in Impact, won the triple A woman's title, and she's probably about to win the ROH women's title (despite it pretty much just being something to pad her stats).

How the company has survived this long is a fukkin mystery. :dwillhuh:

If I had to bet on an Impact star going back to WWE it would be Morrissey. His ring work has improved and he’s gotten himself into great shape. Everything about him right now says superstar.

She will be a solid hand to pick up. Hot free agent? I guess, if you're going on clout from title runs and tv time. I would say all the best ones are pretty much already in WWE/AEW though....
