Bron keeps giving the play the right way answers when he should be telling him to be aggressive. Even if you're not good at it.

And its on Bronny. Right now he's too humble and been that way too long. He's been given the green light and cache to ball hog if he wants too. He just doesnt do it. Even if it'll make it better. I think brehs would respect a 6-17 game from Bronny. He was aggressive and trying to improve. He gets the chance most dont get. He's allowed to fail and it not matter. So play on ball and work on your shyt. Other kids of similar talents would with no fukks given.
look at Gil's boy. Real life Fresh Prince of Bel Air shyt

I cant understand how Lebron hasnt guided Bronny to have the ball running offense.. shyt is puzzling
Eh I think there's value in being a really smart connective passer, which was a positive scouts had for him coming out of HS. He was always going to be an off-ball guy, which isn't a negative (but you gotta obv be really good at one to be 6'2).

The problem is that, for one reason or another, the other traits that were prognosticated in HS didn't fully translate to his first year in college. He had transition vision, but between USC being smelly and their on-ball guards being more disappointing than advertised, just being a connector piece for a shytty low-IQ squad = you also being dragged down. The jump shot wasn't there at all IIRC, which he definitely was supposed to have.

I feel like the brain is the biggest thing he got from his dad, so hopefully he can be like a TJ McConnell one day, like the breh above mentioned. We'll just need to see if he can bend a defense with his on-ball ability like TJ has done his whole NBA career and if we asking that fundamental question, I dunno...

TJ had the Pacers offense humming in the playoffs, Bronny didn't even run the offense in Highschool. You don't learn how to run an offense in the league. They're leagues apart

Right, but he's a framework that makes sense to me, as far as a comparison goes. Off-ball (when running with Haliburton), does his thing with the second unit primarily, not an elite shooter, looks to break down defenses for passing not shooting or scoring.

I like a Lonzo comparison more, just because that's a guy that didn't really have to have the ball at all in the half court or as an on-ball scorer to up the offense. but Lonzo eventually got his shot to where he was a knockdown, was an incredible defender and had generational passing IQ where Bronny's is only good so far. There's obviously real improvement that gotta be made no matter who you compare him to lol
